Khalili Bin Buyong

Mr. Khalili holds a Certificate in Business Studies from Polytechnic Ungku Omar, Ipoh in 1983 and a Degree in Economics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1990.
He started his career in Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) under the Supervision Department in 1990, where he led and participated in the examination of commercial banks and financial institutions. In 2005, he was assigned to the Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia where he was involved in setting up the Supervision Department. He has developed the examination manual and supervision framework for cooperatives and cooperative banks and led the team in the review of major cooperatives including Koperasi Bank Persatuan, Koperasi Pegawai-Pegawai Melayu Malaysia Berhad, and Koperasi Polis.
In 2009, Mr. Khalili was served under the Internal Audit Department of BNM where he was involved in transforming the department into a risk-based internal audit function. In 2012, he served in the Money Services Business Department of BNM, where he was involved in overseeing the relicensing of money changers and remittance operators under the new Money Services Business Act 2011.
In 2015, he served as the Chief Risk Officer at Co-op Bank Pertama where he has set up the Risk Management Department, implemented the risk governance framework, and regularly reported to the Board Risk Committee.
Currently, Mr. Khalili serves as Director of Risk Management & Compliance of Rakyat Trustee Malaysia Berhad and as a board member of Koperasi Maal Mizani Negeri Selangor Berhad.
Leong Hon Chan

Mr. Leong is an experienced investor and entrepreneur with an extensive background in asset management, banking, and private capital investments. He brings extensive experience across financial services, private equity, and strategic investments, with a strong track record in capital raising, portfolio management, and business financing.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electrical from Multimedia University, Malaysia.
He is currently serving as the managing director of SGI Capital Asset Management Limited, an asset management company licensed in Hong Kong, where he is involved in investment strategy, asset allocation, and regional capital deployment. In addition, he served as a general partner of LAS Capital, a Malaysia-licensed private equity fund focused on stable income investment strategies.
Mr. Leong has successfully raised and deployed more than RM500 million into technology and growth-oriented companies, including notable investments in Grab, Xiaomi, and WeDoctor. Beyond financial investments, he is also involved in real asset operations as a co-owner and part of the management team of The Bed KLCC Hotel, contributing to strategic and operational oversight.
Earlier in his career, he held managerial roles in leading financial institutions including Public Bank Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad, and RHB Bank Berhad. In these positions, he advised property developers and corporate clients and was involved in the structuring and execution of substantial financing facilities. His experience in the banking sector provided him with strong capabilities in credit assessment, structured financing, and relationship management.

Lew Choon Meng
Malaysian
Lew graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He received the Legal Qualifying Board’s Award for civil procedure in 2009 and was admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2010.
His primary areas of practice include equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial matters. He has extensive experience in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, corporate restructuring, and fundraising exercises involving private equity and venture capital funds.
Lew regularly advises and drafts corporate agreements for clients across the Asia Pacific region, including in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia.
